About

Mind Your Head exists for anyone who looks "fine" on the outside, but is carrying something quieter underneath.

For as long as I can remember, I've lived with depression, anxiety and low self-esteem. From the outside I seemed okay. Internally, there was a weight that never quite lifted — the Black Dog never too far away.

I was fortunate, though. Early on, I found a form of therapy that didn't come in words, but in movement. Sport — and triathlon in particular — became my anchor. It gave me purpose and structure when everything else felt heavy.

That hasn't gone away. I still have the hard days. But I'm okay — and I know I'm not the only one carrying something. That's the reason Mind Your Head exists.

MYH is more than an apparel brand. It's a way to support people who are struggling and a way to be part of a wider conversation around mental health. As the brand grows, the plan is to give back properly — a share of profits going directly to mental health charities doing the real work.

Every design carries a message of hope — some uplifting, some honest, some light-hearted — but all made to remind people of their strength. Whether it's for the wearer or it speaks quietly to a stranger passing by, a shirt can start a conversation and help someone feel a little less alone.

The aim isn't just what people wear. It's building a space for connection, support, and openness — a reminder that none of us are in this by ourselves.

If that's something you want to be part of, subscribe below — new designs, plus honest writing on mental health and wellbeing, when it's worth sending. And if you've got a question, or a story of your own, I'd genuinely like to hear it.

One step, one shirt, one conversation at a time.
